Eucharistic Ministry Training
for the Newly Confirmed
Being a Eucharistic Minister (E.M.) and sharing the body and the blood of Christ is one of the coolest ways of participating in Mass! Now that you are Confirmed, all you need to do is attend a training session to learn the ins and outs of being an E.M. here at St. Bridget.
In addition, once trained, you will be able to distribute the body and the blood of Christ at other parishes
or college campuses.
Therefore, we are holding a training session here at St. Bridget Tuesday, May 17, from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. just for YOU! You, the newly Confirmed and the Confirmed during the pandemic.
This is such an awesome ministry to be engaged in, and once you are trained does not automatically mean you have to serve at each Mass every week, but it does mean that you will be eligible to serve at our upcoming Graduation Mass (11 a.m.) next Sunday, May 22. It also means you will be able to serve at Masses here at your home Parish on a rotation schedule, which you will learn more about during training.
Please make every effort to be here on Tuesday, May 17, from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. and if your parents would like to be trained or re-trained they are also invited to attend.
Thanks so much!
“Hey friends! Our St. Bridget Youth Group would like to invite 8-12 grade students to our REACH event held on the first Saturday of each month from 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. in the Church of St. Bridget. Come celebrate Mass & Adoration, experience high energy Praise & Worship with fun & friendship mixed in! This is a perfect environment to bond over our Faith with energetic pop Catholic concert-like music (which includes dancing!). We hope to see you there! -T.L.C. (Teen Leadership Council)
**A Note to Parents:
You are more than welcome to attend & participate in our REACH night! However, you may be ushered to the parents-only pew area of our Church to allow your teens to have their own space.
Planned FOR Teens BY Teens!
SANCTUS, a.k.a. SuperSaturday night of fun, starts in the Fall.
Basketball, Spikeball, Dodgeball, Kickball, Relay Races & time to hang, as well as time to make new friends … just to name a few!
Open to all Middle School 6-8 grade students who would like to participate, and to all 9-12 grade students who would like to help lead games and activities. Sanctus alternates between the St. Bridget school gym, and possibly another church in the area. There is no fee, but a free will donatation is available and very much appreciated.
