Eucharist

Parents who prepare and present their children for First Eucharist are continuing the formation process that began when they presented their child for Baptism. Children in grade 2 (or older) usually celebrate this sacrament and are ordinarily excited for this “long-awaited” chance to share in the Mass more fully. 

First Communion preparation will begin with a "kick off" meeting with Father Joe on January 29, 2023 at 1 p.m. This meeting is for candidates and their parent(s). At this meeting, Father Joe will give an overview of the sacrament, and preparation materials will be distributed. We use the BLESSED program, which guides parents as they help their children explore this beautiful sacrament.
