Martha’s Quilt Group
About Martha’s Quilt Group
The Martha’s Quilter’s Group is a group here at St. Bridget that meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in Lubich Hall (the basement of St. Bridget's Church). The group donates all their
finished work to charity.
In 2024, the Martha's Quilt Group donated their finished quilts (plus other items as Baptismal Car Seat Blankets, Fidget quilts, Dignity bags, Fleece hats headbands and knitted hats/scarves) to 27 businesses in our communities.
Doreen Cegielski, Martha Coordinator and our Spotlight Minister for the Martha’s Quilt Group this month, welcomes new members no matter what their skill level may be.
“Every Christian woman is welcome who is willing to share their God given talents to help others. The ability to sew or quilt is not a requirement.”
What Doreen wanted to share:
“It warms my heart to partake in providing comfort and warmth to families who are
experiencing difficult times in their lives.”
“The quilts made by members of Martha Quilt group are given to keep individuals/families warm and hopefully they will feel the love sewn into them.”
“Connecting with other women interested in sharing and inspiring each other in a safe, social environment.”
If you are interested in joining this ministry, please contact the parish office, and we will put you in contact with Doreen.
Thank you quilters for all you do for our parish & community!
