Children's Faith Formation
Thank you for your interest in our Faith Formation programs.
We pray that one or more of these options will serve your family well!
Registration Information
The requested fee for FF is $100 for the first child, and $150 for two or more children.
However, if the fee creates a hardship for your family, please don't hesitate to call Tessa at 715-425-1870. All information is kept confidential.
This is a “flat fee” and covers whatever options you feel will help you share your faith with your children. (There is not an additional fee for sacrament preparation, or for doing both the At-Home program and the classes, etc.)
You can register online HERE, or print a registration form HERE.
We will begin classes for our 2024-25 Faith Formation year at the end of September!
Faith Formation Options for 2024-25 (Grades PreK-6)
PreK-1 Sunday Morning Faith Formation (For ages 3-6)
Students aged 3-6 can participate in Sunday Faith Formation sessions, which will be held during the 9:30 Mass each Sunday, from October through April. These sessions utilize the Promise curriculum from Pflaum. (Families with students in grades K-1 can also consider participating in the “A Family of Faith” option, described below.)
A Family of Faith (Grades K-6)
Families with students in grades K-6 are welcome to participate in a family faith formation program, which uses the "A Family of Faith" curriculum from the Sophia Institute. This program seeks to support and nurture strong Catholic families by encouraging and equipping parents to share their own faith with their children.
Families will gather at the church twice each month, starting in October and running through April. These sessions will be held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. During the first session of each month, a presenter will speak to parents and students about a faith topic. During the second session of each month, small groups will work together to explore and learn more about the faith topic for that month. This program also seeks to build Christian community by connecting families with other families within the program. An extensive Parent Guide book will help parents lead students through engaging at-home activities during the weeks that they do not have sessions at the church. The 2024-25 schedule for the Family Based Program will be available here soon.
Grade Specific Sessions (Grades 3-6)
Students in grades 3-6 are welcome to participate in grade specific faith formation sessions instead of the family based option outlined above. For these Grade Specific Sessions, students will gather at the church, in their own grade’s room, twice each month. These sessions will be held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month, from 5:30-6:30 p.m., from October through April. The 2024-25 schedule for the Per Grade Program will be available here soon.
(There are no grade specific sessions for 2nd grade, since students in 2nd grade are invited to prepare for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion, which are primarily “at-home” programs. Grade specific sessions for grades PreK-1 are held on Sunday mornings, as described above.)
