ACCOMPANISTS & CANTORS

Confident and fluent pianists with good sight-reading skills and able to accompany singers are needed to serve on a rotating basis with our current accompanist. Duties include practicing with cantors, choirs, and other musicians throughout a week in addition to playing for the three weekend Masses (Saturdays at 4pm; Sundays at 9am & 11am) and other special Masses and events, such as funerals. See below for information about our music groups.

Confident and accurate vocalists are also needed as cantors to lead the congregation in all songs throughout each of our weekend Masses (Saturdays at 4pm; Sundays at 9am & 11am).  Cantors sing at all Masses throughout the year with each of the music groups listed below.  Practices with the accompanist will be arranged during each week you are scheduled to cantor.

PRAISE TEAM BAND & SINGERS

This choirs leads the music for the 11:00 a.m. Mass from September through May.
This is a contemporary music group consisting of guitars, drums/percussion, piano/keyboard and singers. This choir is open to those high school age and older.  Practices are held on Thursday evenings from 5:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Praise Team practice for the 2025-2026 year will begin on 9/4/25.

ST. BRIDGET'S CHOIR

This choir leads music for the 9:00 a.m. Mass (other than the second Sundays of the month) as announced seasonally throughout the year. This choir is open to those high school age or older.
Practices are held on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. The first practice for the 2025-2026 year will be on 10/30/25.

YOUTH CHOIR

This choir leads the music for the 9:00 a.m. Mass on the 2nd Sunday of each month from October through May as well as the children’s Christmas Mass. This choir is open to students in grades 3 through 9. Practices are held on Wednesday evenings from 4:30 to 5:00 p.m. before Faith Formation classes. Practices for the 2025-26 school year will begin on 9/24/25.
