Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls’ Day)
The month of November is a special time in our Catholic tradition to remember and pray for our deceased loved ones. All the weekend Masses of November 2nd will be celebrated for the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls’ Day).
After further consideration and discussion, in addition to these Masses, we will hold a special Mass of Remembrance on Sunday, November 2nd at 2:30 p.m.
We warmly invite everyone to join our faith community in prayer for all our beloved deceased, entrusting them to God’s merciful love and eternal peace. If you have recently lost a loved one and would like to honor their memory by including them in the Mass of Remembrance, please do not hesitate to contact Lindsey in the office to ensure their name & photo is included.
If you would like to sign up to volunteer at the ministries of the Mass of Remembrance at 2:30pm, please click the link below!
Eucharistic Consecration

What is consecration? According to Catholic Answers, consecration is:
“Consecration, in general, is an act by which a thing is separated from a common and profane to a sacred use, or by which a person or thing is dedicated to the service and worship of God by prayers, rites, and ceremonies.”
(Read more about Consecration here: https://www.catholic.com/encyclopedia/consecration
Bishop James Powers is calling on all parishes in the Superior Diocese to participate in a special spiritual pilgrimage to Eucharistic Consecration. He observed that “A pilgrimage is a journey designed to reorient our lives: we commit to prayer, penance and transformation. It is not intended for our comfort, but for our conversion.” We will be using Dynamic Catholic’s 33 Days to Eucharistic Glory. St. Bridget has utilized this book and pilgrimage twice before, but this will be different so even if you have been a part of this journey before, please consider joining us as a parish! Our journey begins October 22nd and ends on November 23rd, which is the Feast of Christ the King.
Here are the options for participating in the consecration:
• Make a commitment to do the Eucharistic Consecration as an individual, with a spouse, as a family or with a friend.
• Organize a small group among your fellow parishioners. Designate a facilitator and let us know who that is so we can communicate and distribute materials.
• Sign up for a small group below or at the information desk in church.
Rake-A-Difference

Rake-A-Difference: On Saturday, November 1, weather permitting, all parishioners are invited to join in raking the yards of parishioners/community members in need. This is a great way for our parish to serve together, for families to do volunteer work together, for Confirmation candidates to log service hours, and to simply give of time and talent while enjoying the outdoors! Find details at the information desk at St Bridget Parish and sign up.
SCRIP

SCRIP is a fundraising program to benefit St. Bridget Church and School while shopping and is celebrating more than 30 years in the parish. Parish and school families purchase SCRIP gift cards at face value. St. Bridget purchases gift cards from local vendors and a national fundraising company at a discounted value and credits the difference, or “rebates”, to an approved St. Bridget account of the buyer’s choice. Just regularly using SCRIP for everyday purchases can easily generate funds to help with parish and school expenses. SCRIP isn’t just for gifts! Make it part of your family’s budget. Please consider joining or re-energizing your purchases today! Contact the Parish Office with any questions.
