Faith Formation Catechist*
Catechists lead a small group of students in sharing and learning more about their faith. Classes are held September through April on Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Curriculum is provided.
Faith Formation Catechist Substitute*
Substitute for a catechist who is unable to be present for their class.
Faith Formation Meal Volunteer
Works with others to set up, serve and clean up on Wednesday nights while Faith Formation classes are in session (September through April).
Sunday Preschool Assistant*
Assist in leading children from ages 3 to 5 years old during the 9:30 Mass from mid-September through mid-April. Help create various crafts to teach the youth about God’s love for us.
Vacation Bible School*
One week program in the summer for children (entering Kindergarten through Fifth grade in the fall) to learn about our Catholic faith and to have fun. Many parishioners are needed to serve as group and activity leaders as the children engage in songs, stories, crafts, skits, and snacks. Volunteers must be in the fifth grade or older.
FOCCUS Marriage Preparation
As a married couple, help an engaged couple to prepare for the sacrament of marriage. Training is provided.
Sponsors walk with the RCIA catechumens and candidates on their faith journey to full initiation into the Catholic Church.
School Playground Aide*
Monitor students at recess and help provide a safe environment for everyone.
School Lunchroom Aide*
Assist at St. Bridget Parish School with washing tables, washing dishes, helping students as necessary, and occasionally serving.
School Substitute Teacher*
Be on call to teach at St. Bridget School when a regular teacher is unavailable. PreK—grade 8.
Help to facilitate a monthly Catholic Bible Study/Outreach program for inmates at the St. Croix County Jail. Leaders facilitate the sessions on the second Monday of the month or on the third Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m.
