Volunteers for the donut committee serve the church and the community by making donuts every Sunday from September through May. Volunteers sign up for a wide range of duties including fryer, dough maker, icers and sellers. Volunteers enjoy participating in fellowship with one another while being able to give back to the church the proceeds from the donut sales.
Time Commitment
The donut group makes donuts every Sunday from September through May. Fryer and makers will start as early as 2:30am until 7:00am, Icers begin at 5:30am until 8:00am and Sellers begin at 8:00am until Noon. There are eight rotating teams each Sunday, therefore our volunteers only work their shift once every two months.
Meetings
The donut group meets at their annual potluck in which donut volunteers are recognized and any questions about the new year are answered.
