For Catholics, the Sacrament of Baptism is the first step in a lifelong journey of commitment and discipleship. Whether we are baptized as infants or adults, Baptism is the Church's way of celebrating and enacting the embrace of God.
Requirements
Parents seeking Baptism must be registered members of our parish or have a letter of permission from the pastor of their parish. Registration forms are available through the church office. Parishioners are encouraged to prepare for Baptism of their child during pregnancy.
Baptism Instruction
Parent’s expecting their first child will need to attend the Baptism class. Parent’s expecting their second child are highly recommended to attend the class. Classes are usually on the first Sunday, every other month at 1:00 pm at St. Bridget Church.
