For Catholics, the Sacrament of Baptism is the first step in a lifelong journey of commitment and discipleship. Whether we are baptized as infants or adults, Baptism is the Church's way of celebrating and enacting the embrace of God.
Requirements
Parents seeking Baptism must be registered members of our parish or have a letter of permission from the pastor of their parish. Registration forms are available through the church office. Parishioners are encouraged to prepare for Baptism of their child during pregnancy.
Baptism Instruction
Parent’s expecting their first child will need to attend our Baptism I class. Our Baptism II class is for parent’s expecting their second child. Classes are usually on the first Sunday, every other month. The times are 1pm for Baptism I and 2:15pm for Baptism II at St. Bridget Church.
