When Families Grieve
This powerful and heartwarming 60-minute show by PBS, featuring the Sesame Street Muppets, provides families in the military and in the general public a valuable service by making the courageous struggles of parents and children visible, while sharing strategies that have helped them cope with grief. You can watch it online here.
How Children Mourn
Treating death as taboo makes it more difficult for the 2 million children who have lost a parent to deal with grief. This video with Katie Couric is a nice resource. Click here.
